Funeral Announcements for April 10, 2025

Visitation for Serena E. Griffith, 80, of Sedalia, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at Heckart Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Smithton Cemetery.

Graveside service for Elmer L. Schroeder, 92, of Oak Grove,  will be held Friday, April 11 at 1 p.m., at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

A celebration of life for Dorothy Jeanette Ries, 95, of Pilot Grove,  will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at Wesley Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., at the church. Arrangements by Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Vicki Lynn Houseman, 72, of Lee's Summit, will be held at Rea Funeral Chapel on April 23, beginning with a visitation at 11 a.m., and a service will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorial service for Rosemary Allen, 88, of Sedalia, will be held in Sedalia at a later date. Interment will be in Rosebud Cemetery, Rosebud, Montana. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Lorene Schumaker, 92, of Dresden, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Funeral service for Olga Lukashovna Kukharets, 61, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10 at Word of Life Church, Sedalia. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Chester S. Spradling, 86, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Heckart Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
