Funeral Announcements for April 14, 2025

A celebration of life for Vicki Lynn Houseman, 72, of Lee's Summit, will be held at Rea Funeral Chapel on April 23, beginning with a visitation at 11 a.m., and a service will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral service for Lorene Schumaker, 92, of Dresden, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

The family of Chester S. Spradling, 86, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Heckart Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

There will no be formal services held at this time for Michael John Smith, 51, of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Services will be held at a later date for Brenda Sue Byrd, 73, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Edward L. Clark, 90, of Sedalia, will be held on Thursday, April 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Rea Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family of Carie Ann Morrison, 56, of Warrensburg, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Knob Noster Cemetery.
