Funeral Announcements for April 19, 2023

A celebration of life for Gary Charlie Brown, 64, of Sedalia, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Korner Lounge. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Visitation for Henry Louis Vogler, 95, rural Green Ridge, will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the First United Methodist Church in Cole Camp with a celebration of life and memorial service for Henry to begin at 11 a.m.  Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 305 of Cole Camp. Lunch will be served after the service. Arrangements in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Melinda Gayle Stansbury, 83, of Lee’s Summit, formerly of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time.

Inurnment for William Noah Rogers, 96, of Sedalia,will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial for Anna Elizabeth Swords, 98, of Sedalia, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Chapel. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service for Brady D. Jaco, 77, of Otterville, will begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 30, at First Baptist Church, Otterville with visitation to follow until 6 p.m., in the church fellowship hall. Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

Graveside service for Betty Marie Callahan, 87, of Sedalia, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.  Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Graveside service for John Dale Davis, 85, of Girard, Kansas, formerly of Cole Camp,will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery near Cole Camp. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 305 of Cole Camp. . A pot luck meal and sharing of memories will follow at the Oak Hills Coon Club near Cole Camp. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Roenna V. (Roeboat) Thomas, 80, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Rea Funeral Chapel. A Sedalia Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #125 Ritual Ceremony will follow services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 24 at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Sedalia Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. #125 conducting a ritual ceremony at the grave site.

A graveside memorial service and burial for Clara Ardelle Fisher, 85, of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, April 24, at High Point Cemetery Hughesville. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Latecia FaeMarie Hart, 31, of Sedalia, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 21 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements for David Allen Smith, 67, of Sedalia, are in care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
