Funeral Announcements for August 21, 2023

Funeral service for  Nancy Jo Gee, 82, of Fortuna, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial service for Jeffrey Scot Cokely, 61, of Tipton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at First United Methodist Church, 201 Monroe Street, Jefferson City, with military honors to follow. The service will be live streamed on the First United Methodist Church Facebook page and available later on the First United Methodist Church’s YouTube channel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral service for James L. Starke, 94, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m., Monday Aug. 21 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.

Funeral service for Sheldon Ray Johnson, Jr., 61, of Cole Camp, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at Ozark Tabernacle Church near Cole Camp.  Burial will be in Inman Memorial Cemetery near Cole Camp. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church. Arranegments are in care of Fox Funeral Home.
