Funeral Announcements for August 28, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Darrell Duane Cornwell, 53, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. at the American Legion in Sedalia on Sept. 14. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Robert J. Rapp, 62 of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30 at the Heckart Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Funeral services for Shirley May Bean, 81, of Lincoln, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29 at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp, with a visitation beginning at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Brushy Cemetery, near Lincoln.

A Celebration of Life service for Benjamin Wayne Phillips, 62 of Sedalia, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service for Sarah Ellen "Sally" Tompkin, 92, Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center. Arrangements are under the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian burial for James C. “Jim” Keck, 98, of Sedalia, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with military honors from the United States Coast Guard and the VFW Post #2591.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friends may call the funeral home after 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Funeral services for Wanda Darlene Whitaker, 85, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral chapel.
