Funeral Announcements for August 9, 2024

A graveside memorial service for Margaret June (Hyatt) McMullin, 85, of Kansas City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at Olive Branch Cemetery, near Beaman. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Memorial Mass for Sherry Lynn Vandevelde, 58, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Patrick Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

The family of  Ola Fay Turner, 89, of La Monte, will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery.

Graveside services for Elizabeth Ellen Mitts, 74, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 at Cole Camp Cemetery.  Following the services, the family will host a potluck dinner at the Jaycee House. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

The family of Marvalee Laura Stoermer, 90, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sedalia with funeral services to be held at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery near Cole Camp.  Arrangements are in care of the Fox Funeral Home.

Visitation for Betty Jean Green, 89, of Sedalia, will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at Heckart Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
