Funeral Announcements for December 14, 2018

Funeral services for Wanda Mae Logan, 87, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.  The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. on Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery, Cole Camp.

A memorial service for Van Marshall White, 83, of Warrensburg, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at First Christian Church, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be held at the Missouri Veteran Cemetery in Higginsville with full military honors by the Sedalia VFW Post #2591 and the Missouri Army National Guard.

There will be no formal visitation or funeral service for Carmie Emma Moore, 87, of formerly of Lee's Summit and Sedalia. A private graveside service will be held. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Legora B. Ray, 91, formerly of Sedalia, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, at Heckart Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Ralph Leroy Farris, 90, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17 at Highland Sacred Gardens with full military honors by the U.S. Army and VFW Post 2591. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home for Frank Harrison Herring, 88, of Sedalia, who requested no funeral service. Inurnment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

Celebration of Life services for George B. “Burt” Leaver, 81, of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Broadway Baptist Church in Sedalia. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A graveside service and burial for Frances Doreen Burkhalter, 91, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery in Florence. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside at St. John United Church of Christ, Florence. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
