Funeral Announcements for December 16, 2021

A graveside service for Thomas Michael Jacobs, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Douglas Tate Galey, 68, of Sedalia, formerly of Smithton, will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16 at Heckart Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Smithton Cemetery.

The family of Margaret Darlyne Fajen, 86, of Cole Camp, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday,  Dec. 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, with funeral services to be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Cole Camp. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

There will be no service for Aaron Jay Landon, 54, of Sedalia, who died Dec. 11. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Kathryn "Kate" (Moon) Perry, 67, of Sedalia, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services for Dorothy Kruse, 90, of rural Windsor, near Green Ridge, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Antioch Cemetery, Manila.

Graveside services for Benjamin Franklin Childress, 89, of Streamwood, Illinois, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 20 at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Cole Camp.  Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post No. 305 of Cole Camp. Arrangements are under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Tylar Ray Simon, 32, of Sedalia, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Rudy Dale Breshears, 71, will be held on Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. at Simple Blessings Farm, 280 NE State Hwy FF, Knob Noster.

A Celebration of Life for Gary Warren Duncan II, 47, of Sedalia, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service for John Riley "Bull" Higgins, 86, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Inurnment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral services for Jesse Gene Byrd, 40, of Fristoe, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19 at Fredonia Church near Warsaw.  Burial will be in Fredonia Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Prayers of the Rosary for Mark Alan Gerke, 68, of Pilot Grove, will be said at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
