Funeral Announcements for December 16, 2022

A memorial service for Gertrude Claudette Stoner, 89, will be held at Camp Branch Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

There will be no formal memorial services planned for Eula Mae Weedman, 84, of Sedalia, formerly of Waco, Texas. Body donation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for John Patrick Strunk, 69 of Sedalia, will be held at a later date at the American Legion Post #642 in Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Burial for Dale Langston DeLarm, Sr. 86, of Smithton, will be held in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona, Mo., at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16.

Rea Funeral Chapel is handling cremation arrangements for Maggie Layne Shoe, 72 of Sedalia.

Funeral service for Paul Derrell Bennett, 80, of Sedalia, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The United States Army will conduct full military honors. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the chapel. Internment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial service for Richard Allen Winfrey, 71, of Sedalia, formerly of Warrensburg, will be at noon, Saturday, Dec. 17 at New Life Church Ministries. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Mass of Christian Burial for Peter William “Bill” Hodges, 88, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial with full military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps and VFW 2591 will be in Calvary Cemetery. Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, with visitation to follow from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Visitation for Virginia Hodges, 92, of Stover, will be held at 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, Dec. 18 at the Stover United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the church with burial to follow in the Versailles Cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.

Visitation for George Allen Belsha, age 68, of Sedalia, will be held Friday, Dec. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services and interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Warsaw.

Visitation for Mary Ruth (Mittelhauser) Combs, 82, will be at First Christian Church, on Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. at the church with burial following at Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Heckart Funeral Home.
