Funeral Announcements for December 2, 2020

Friends of Mary Maxine Ebersold, 90, of Sedalia, may pay their respects and sign the guest book Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Heckart Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date with her final resting place being in Fairport Cemetery at Fairport, Mo.

No service is planned at this time for Robert Lee “Bob” Young, 79, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Mark Alan Bogle, 51, of Sedalia, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Agnes Irene Woolery, 76, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Vicki Lynn Shoemaker, 60, of Hughesville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A private service for Bret Allen Grother, age 39, of La Monte, will be held at the La Monte cemetery.

No services will be held for Willis Daniel “Bill” Stokes Jr., 81, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Visitation for John Albert Snyder, 77, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at Heckart Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, followed by military honors provided by the Sedalia VFW Post 2591 and the United States Air Force.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home for Floyd Allen Williams, 74, of Sedalia.

The family of Haldor Gerald Barnes, 82, of Cole Camp, will receive friends beginning at noon with funeral services at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church near Cole Camp.  Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Josephine Bahner, 77, of Smithton, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at the St. John Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Bahner. Friends may pay their respects and sign the guestbook from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

No services are planned for Opal May Donnell, 94, of Cole Camp, Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A private family graveside memorial service for William Carl Hammerly, 85, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. Full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Marine Corp. and the Sedalia VFW Post 2591. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Friends of Dixie Ruth Byrum (Burns), 86, of Lee’s Summit, formerly of Sedalia, may pay their respects and sign the guest book on Friday, Dec. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Heckart Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at the funeral home with a livestream starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.

Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley M. White-Schieberl, 93, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3 at the St. Patrick Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service and burial for Ronnie Joe Ditzfeld, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591. Due to the pandemic, the family requested that it be a private family service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Rea Funeral Chapel.
