Funeral Announcements for December 22, 2023

A memorial service for Joyce JoAnn (Ives) Williams, 87, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at Heckert Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Inurnment will be at a later date at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation for Elsie May Janney, 88, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Sedalia, will be held at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia on Saturday, Dec. 23 beginning at 1 p.m., with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial for Ayden Christian Wright, 21, of Marshall, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall.  Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22 at the church.  Arrangements by Campbell Lewis Funeral Home.

The family of Jerral "Joe" Dene Wilbanks, 78, of Stover, will receive friends beginning at noon on Saturday, Dec. 30  at Stover United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Stover Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post No. 343 of Stover. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

The family of Essie Mae Williams, 92, of Sedalia, will hold a private memorial gathering at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Services are pending at Rea Funeral Chapel for Hillory Arlen Joy, 92.

Funeral service for Terry J. Weathers, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 at the Chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family of Lou Ann Olsen, 69, of Sedalia, will announce a celebration of life memorial gathering at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Harvey Wray Goalder, 98, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 at Heckart Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Inurnment will be at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral service for Frances A. Summers, 99, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th Street. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A celebration of life gathering with family and friends at a later date will be held for Nancy Eileen Agnitsch, 72, of Sedalia.

A celebration of life service for Brenda Gay Houk, 82, of Sedalia will be held at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Christ & Trinity Lutheran Church. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date for Roy E. Paxton Sr., 84, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
