Funeral Announcements for December 23, 2020

A private, family-only memorial service with strict pandemic precautions for William J. “Bill” Morris, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28 at Heckart Funeral Home. The private service will be live-streamed on Heckart Funeral Home's Facebook page. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy and VFW Post 2591.

A Celebration of Life for Rockie Correll Bartel, of Cole Camp, will be held in the spring.  There will be a private family service in Olathe, Kansas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.

A service will be held at a later date for Flora “LaVerne” Stansberry, 77, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Services will be held at a later date for Clarice Maxine (Cole) Ruckman, 98, of Sedalia. Burial will be in Gillette, Wyo. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

No services will be held for Richard Emmett Burton, 86, of Chillicothe. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

The family of Iris Helen McCubbin, 89, of Lincoln, will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, with funeral services to begin at 6 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.  Burial will be at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

A funeral service for Doris Dean Goalder, 90, of Sedalia, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27 at Heckart Funeral Home. Those attending are asked to wear a mask. Inurnment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Friends of Milagros Romarate Sumilang, 87 years old, may pay their respects and sign the guest book from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27 at Heckart Funeral Home. Funeral services will start at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. It will be live-streamed on the Heckart Funeral Home facebook page.
