Funeral Announcements for December 27, 2021

A graveside service for Thomas Michael Jacobs, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Visitation for Thomas Joseph Nelson, 54, of La Monte, will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Heckart Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at a later date at La Monte Cemetery.

Funeral service for Frankie "Joe" Young, 75, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at the funeral chapel.  Burial will be at La Monte Cemetery.

A memorial service for Monty Allen Ellis, 33 of Sedalia, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A celebration of life for Samantha Rose Friend, 53, of Sedalia will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Rea Funeral Chape.

Funeral service for Emily Mae Wilcox, 102, of Tewksbury, Mass., formerly of Sedalia, will be at noon, Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Betty Jean Cote, 92, of Lenexa, Kan., formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation for Barbara D. Parker, 72, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Interment for Charles Leslie Cooley, 95, of Springfield, will be held at a later date in the Garden of Memories, 3669 Logan Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa, 50703.  Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
