Funeral Announcements for December 29, 2023

A memorial service for Joyce JoAnn (Ives) Williams, 87, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at Heckert Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Inurnment will be at a later date at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Jerral "Joe" Dene Wilbanks, 78, of Stover, will receive friends beginning at noon on Saturday, Dec. 30  at Stover United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Stover Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post No. 343 of Stover. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Frances A. Summers, 99, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th Street. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Rita Gwen Downs, 67, of Sedalia, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4 at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th Street.

A celebration of life for Joseph Paul Gibson, 60, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5 at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th Street.

Funeral service for John Paul Forrest Edwards, 73, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, with burial to follow at the Irwin Cemetery near Clifton City with full military honors.

Visitation for Sharrie F. Shull, 61, of Sedalia, will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Heckart Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Funeral service for Ray D. Combs, 88, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3 at First Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family of Elizabeth Ann Hazelrigg, 83, of Cole Camp, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at First Baptist Church in Cole Camp where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery at Florence. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Terry Edward White, 72, of La Monte. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
