Funeral Announcements for February 20, 2020

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Poynter, 83, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the VFW Post on South Ohio after the burial.

Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas Trendle Keating, 88, will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21. The family will receive friends at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel from 6:30 to 8 pm on Thursday, Feb. 20. Private interment will be at a later time in Calvary Cemetery.

Funeral services for Wanda Joy (Carver) Gooch, 86, Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral services for Phyllis Marie Lees, 76, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A memorial for James Thomas Harter, 78, of Sedalia, is planned from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Moose Lodge in Sugar Creek. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, Colo. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A private graveside service and burial for Mary Jeanette Higdon-Hurt, 98, of Sedalia, will be at Providence Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Lois Jane Harvey, 92, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at the Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

There will be no services for Juanita Fern Mathews, 89, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

The children of Bobby Joe Mehrens, Sr., age 83, of rural Lincoln, will receive family and friends at Davis Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.. Friday, Feb. 21 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lincoln.
