Funeral Announcements for February 25, 2025

Graveside service for James R. "Jim" Borchers, 72, of Sedalia,  will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m., until 10:40 a.m., at Heckart Funeral Home before processing to the cemetery.

The family of Elizabeth Ann Friend, 43, of Sedalia, will hold a celebration of life memorial at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Evelyn J. “Punk” Woolery, 77, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery mausoleum.

The family of Dianna Lynn Elmlinger, 63, of Sedalia, will hold a Celebration of Life service at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Parkview Christian Church Family Life Center. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time at the Family Life Center. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Tipton. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services and burial for Leona B. Payne, 92, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside at Rea Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service for Betty Louise Canida, 92, of Otterville, will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Linda Sue Hockersmith, 79, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
