Funeral Announcements for January 17, 2024

A celebration of life for Lisa Kay Swords, 68, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Rea Funeral Chapel, 3510 W. 16th Street.

Prayers of the Rosary for Mary “Wilma” Embrey, 93, of Pilot Grove, will begin at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with visitation to follow until 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.

A celebration of life for Shirley May Coffman, 94, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17 at Primrose Retirement Community. A family service will be held. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Stella Marie Huffman, 89, of Littleton, Colo., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be in Stover Cemetery.

Visitation for Charles Steven “Pete” “Steve” Henderson, 71, of Smithton, will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at Heckart Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at the IOOF Cemetery, Otterville.

Graveside service for Goldie M. Hamel, 97, of Polo, formerly of Sedalia, will be Friday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery in Sedalia. Friends may call Friday morning at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service for Arnold Eugene "Jim" Peek, 83, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A celebration of life for Linda Kay Turner, 67, of Sedalia, will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
