Funeral Announcements for January 31, 2022

There will be no formal services for Kayla Rae Kumpf, 22, of Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Sedalia. The family will hold a gathering at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Shawn Richard Davis, 44, of Sedalia, will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Private services for Esther Clara Kipp Knuth, 91, of Stover, wil be held, with burial to take place in the Stover Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.

A graveside service for Joan Daisy Burkey, 75, of Sedalia, will be held and will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for David DeWayne Werths, 62, of Sedalia, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, with full military honors by the United States Marine Corp and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

The family of Joyce Jane Hall, 80, will hold a celebration of life gathering for family and friends at a later date. Burial of ashes will be in Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

Prayers of the Rosary for Larry “Henry” Schupp, 81, of Pilot Grove, will be said at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, with visitation to follow until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2 at the church. Burial with military honors will be in St. Martin’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.

Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph William “Jay” Twenter, 93, of Sedalia, and Marvella will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial with full military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery. Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the church with visitation to follow until service time at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are pending at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel for John David Husong, 51, of Sedalia.

The family of Rebecca L. Griffin, 63, of Sedalia,will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Otterville. Funeral services for Becky and David will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Otterville Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at a later date in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.
