Funeral Announcements for January 6, 2020

Funeral service for William (Bill) H. Ficken, 89, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Sedalia VFW Post #2591 and Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Linda Gail Waller, 76, of Otterville,will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Arrangements in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Brigadier General Ronald Alvin Hoppes, USANG Retired, 81, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens, with full military honors by the United States Army National Guard.

Graveside services and burial for Bobby Lee Asbury, 84, of Otterville, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 at Olive Branch Cemetery, northeast of Sedalia. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home for Doris Noreen Porrett, 87, of Edwards.

A celebration of life for Arden Marie Goss, 63, of rural Smithton, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the Heckart Family Center where a meal will be served. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
