Funeral Announcements for January 9, 2023

Memorial service for Paul E. Fath, 91, of Sedalia, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 20 at Parkview Christian Church. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Burial with full military honors will be 1 p.m., at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

A celebration of life for Virgil Dean Rodgers II, 60, of Sedalia will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A celebration of life for James Orval "J.O." Dotson II, 65, of Sedalia, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Celia Earlene Knight, 89, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral services for James Edman "Jim" Curry, 79, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral service for Marjettue "Margaret" J. Jonson, 91, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

There are no formal services planned at this time for Charles Wayne Dotson, 74 of Pilot Grove. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Janice M. Thornton, 78, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 13 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Graveside service for Eddy Charles Brown, 61, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Ann Bingaman, 80, of Blue Springs, formerly of Sedalia, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
