Funeral Announcements for July 15, 2024

Prayers of the Rosary for Trudy Lucille Twenter, 96, of Pilot Grove, will begin at 8:45 a.m. Monday, July 15 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Clear Creek, with visitation until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Clear Creek. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.

A celebration of life for Samuel Stephen Potter III (Steve), 60, of Sedalia, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 19 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A memorial service for Beverly Hix, 84, Overbrook, Kansas, will be held at Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove on Monday, July 15. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., followed by service at 2 pm.

A memorial service for Josephine Thomas, 76, of Sedalia, will be held on July 20 at Heckart Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 1 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 2. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Graveside service for Janis Marie Laster, 71, of La Monte, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at Fairview Cemetery in Marshall. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

A graveside service for Larry Lee Veuleman, Jr., 87, of Lincoln, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Funeral service for John David Bunch Jr., 74, of Herculaneum, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, July 19 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at High Point Cemetery in Hughesville, with complete military honors by the United States Marine Corp., Sedalia VFW Post #2591, and the Patriot Guard Riders.
