Funeral Announcements for July 8, 2019

Mass will be said for Dorothy A. Linn, age 89, of Kansas City, formerly of Warsaw, at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 11, at St. John Francis Regis Church, 8941 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City. Arrangements are with Park Lawn Funeral Home, Kansas City.

Funeral services for Carrie Frances Vansell, 58, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9 at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill.

There will be no services held for Caroline J. Baker, 97 of Sedalia, Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future for Jerome “Jerry” Knight Cummings, 87, of Windsor. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial services for Marion Dale Ray, 84, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Green Ridge Cemetery.

Funeral services for Leola June Sleeper, 89, of Sedalia, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs.

Funeral services for Dorothy Brill Upton, 87, of Sedalia, formerly of Green Ridge, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10 at Green Ridge Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery.

Mass of Christian Burial for Robert “Robbie” David Withers, 19, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at Sacred Heart Church. Family will receive friends at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, July 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Elizabeth Lorenea Averbeck. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
