Funeral Announcements for March 11, 2022

Graveside service for Dennis Steve Eding, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 11 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Following the graveside service, a celebration of life will be held at the Sedalia Country Club.

A Celebration of Life for Deborah Leona Catron-Smith, 70, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

There will be no formal services held for Clifford Lee Storey Jr., 74, of Sedalia, formerly Jeannette, Penn. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service and burial for James "Jim" William Cave, 52, of La Monte, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 11 at High Point Cemetery Hughesville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Friday prior to the graveside at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Graveside service for Joan Daisy Burkey, 75, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial services for Wayne Baslee, 83, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Visitation for James Rodney Hawkins, Jr. 73, of Warsaw formerly of Sedalia, will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 14 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Smithton Cemetery.

Graveside services for Elizabeth Louise Dietzman Nelson, 79, of Sedalia, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Heckart Funeral Home.

There will be no formal services held for Melva Jean Huber, 67 of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Anita L. Hutcheson, 61, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14 at the chapel. There will be no graveside service.

Services for Maria G. Garcia, 64, of La Monte, will be held on Wednesday, March 16 at St. Vincent de Paul Parrish, St. Patrick Church. Visitation will held from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Rosary will begin at 5:45 p.m. Funeral Mass from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Mason Jacob Clark, 15, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A funeral service for Farran "Cody" Bryan Sr., 68, of Sedalia wil be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, with full military honors conducted by the United States Marine Corp., and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.
