Funeral Announcements for March 14, 2024

A celebration of life for Caleb Ryan Sell, 34, of Sedalia, will be held from 10 a.m., to 12 p.m., March 16 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial service for Christopher Scott Denker, 42, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Grace Fellowship Church in Cole Camp. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

The family of Barbara Jo Hayden, 83, of Sedalia, will receive friends on Friday, March 15 from 4 to 6 p.m., at Broadway Presbyterian Church in the sanctuary. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m., at Broadway Presbyterian Church, 209 W Broadway. A private burial will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial for Daniel "Dan" Joseph Linsenbardt, 62, of Sedalia, will be held at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul on Thursday, March 14 at 11 a.m. A recitation of the rosary will begin at 9:45 a.m., with the family receiving friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are being made under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service for Aaron Mitchell “Petey” Walter, 42, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the chapel.

A private burial for Crystal D. Barklage Richardson, 53, of Harrisonville, will be held at Longwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Graveside service for Florence “Joanne” McFail, 70, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 15 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Memorial service for David William Schlomer, 73, of Houstonia, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at Calvary Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Longwood Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Lynn D. Middleton, 70, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Rea Funeral Chapel. An additional visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake, Iowa. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral service for Edna "Sissy" Marian Ramey, 84, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Mr. Herman Cemetery.

The family of Don Leo Engelbrecht, 83, of Tipton, will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at First Baptist Church of Tipton, where a celebration of life service will be held at 12.  Family burial will be held at California City Cemetery, with military honors by the U.S. Army and Edgar Cole American Legion Post 304. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Robert "Bob" Bevin Campbell, 66, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
