Funeral Announcements for March 18, 2022

Graveside service for Joan Daisy Burkey, 75, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Ruth Janice Cornwall, 92, Lincoln, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering for Phillip "Phil" Eugene Bishop, 70, of Sedalia, held at a later date by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Byron Leroy Roberts, 82, of Edwards, announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Ernest Jule Gehlken, 92, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 21 at Cornerstone Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the United States Army. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

No formal services will be held at this time for Gwenda Jeweldene Smith, 60, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Eunice Emma Friedly, 95, of Sedalia, formerly of Ionia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 21 at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Christian Cemetery in Ionia.
