Funeral Announcements for March 28, 2025

Graveside service for Georgia Anna (Farris) Clark, age 91, of Sedalia, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Pamela Kay Chisholm, 67, of Sedalia,  will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Funeral service for Stanley Clawson Potts Jr, 85, of Sedalia,  will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26 at Discover Church, Sedalia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Christopher David Salmons, 40, of Warsaw, will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday, March 30 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A private family graveside service and burial for Wallace "Merlin" Nelson, 93, of Sedalia will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens at a later date. Arrangements by Rea Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian burial for Oda Marie Weller, 92, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 28 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul Parish. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with Prayers of the Rosary at 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, immediately following the Mass. Arrangements in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Cremation arrangements for Patricia Hortense Simpson, 86, of Warsaw, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Jimmie Charles Wise, 84, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Herman Cemetery.

Visitation for Nadine Speiser Fingland, 100, will be held at Christ Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, March 31 from 9:30 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11 a.m., with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall at the church. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Visitation for Harold Carl Schroeder, 95, of Sedalia, will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, April 1 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery, with full military honors.

There are no services scheduled at this time for Mary Lou Benson, 98, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for John Prentice Beaman, III, 45, of Sedalia, will be held from 4 p.m. until service time on Thursday, April 3 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.  A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
