Funeral Announcements for March 9, 2020

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends for Zachary Alan Hancock-Bottom, 27, of Sedalia, will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m on Thursday, March 12 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A devotion will be read at 7:30 p.m. by Pastor Jeff Randelman.

Visitation for Brian J. Hartford, 67, of Sedalia, will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at Heckart Funeral Home with a reception to follow in the Heckart Family Center.

There will be no services for Ruth Evelyn Woolery, 99, of Sedalia. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home for Bonnie M. Bender, 81, of Sedalia.

Funeral services for Darrell Wayne Slaughter, Sr., 64, of Longwood, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 9 at Longwood Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Longwood Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Longwood Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial services for Richard E. Jones, 76, of Clinton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. just prior to the service. Interment will be in the Vansant Road Cemetery.

Funeral services for Beulah Mae Peoples, 89, of Chillicothe, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Funeral services for Theodore Leland “Ted” Coffelt, 92, of Houstonia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10 at Heckert Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 9. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery near Marshall Junction. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force and VFW Post 2591.
