Funeral Announcements for May 14, 2024

Memorial service for Terry Edward White, 72, of La Monte, who died Dec. 29, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at Heckart Funeral Home.

A graveside service and burial for Herbert Timothy "Tim" Hudson, 69, of Green Ridge, will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m., to 11 a.m. prior to the graveside at Rea Funeral Chapel.

No services are planned at this time for Margarete Barbara “Margie” Evans, 67, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

A rosary will begin at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 18,  at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sedalia where the family of Lillie Agnes Luebbering, 86, of Sedalia, will receive friends until mass of Christian burial at 1:30 p.m.  Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Bahner. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Sammy George Mehan, 77, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Blackburn Cemetery.

Funeral service for William Leonard "Crockett" McKernon, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 17 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Funeral service for Brannon Chase Walker, 33, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 20 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial will be at Knob Noster Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the United States Marine Corps and Sedalia VFW Post #2591. The Pettis County Sheriff's Department will also conduct its "Last Call" to honor Brannon.
