Funeral Announcements for May 20, 2025

Funeral service for Martha Ann Weller, 78, of rural Mora, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia with the family to receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. and the rosary to be recited at 10:40 a.m. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Bahner.  Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home for Rodrigo Briones Perez, 78, of Sedalia.

A celebration of life for Virginia Mae Hursman, 74, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A celebration of life dinner for Claudine Ellen Brown, 87, of Cole Camp, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at Ellie's Acres, 19933 Heman Avenue, Cole Camp, under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home for Rev. Carl A. Gravatt, 89, of Hughesville.

Visitation for James Douglas Stephens, Sr., 86, of Quincy, Missouri, will begin at 12 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Heckart Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements for Jack Watterson, 74, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
