Funeral Announcements for May 8, 2023

Visitation for Virginia "Ginny" Arnett, 77, formerly of Sedalia, will be from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday, May 13, at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

A Greet the family for Mary Katherine Cope, 66, of Sedalia, will begin at 9 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 1201 West. Broadway, Sedalia. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at the Sedalia Salvation Army Community Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Visitation for Kathryn Jean Younce, 65, of La Monte, will be held from 3 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, May 9 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with burial to follow in the La Monte Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Robert "Bob" Paul Cranfill, 93, of Smithton,will be held at 11 a.m. June 2, at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, with full military honors by the Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Team and VFW Post #2591.

A celebration of life for Margaret K. "Kathie" Mullins, 65, of La Monte, formerly of Marshall, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at LifePointe Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Barea Cemetery, Cooper County. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Barbara Jean “Bobbi” Smith, 77, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 8, at East Sedalia Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Private family burial will be held at a later date in the Edmonson Baptist Church Cemetery near Lincoln. Arrangements in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for David Leonard Clevenger, 77, of Windsor, will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 8 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be 2:30 p.m., in Mount Pleasant Cemetery with full military honors at graveside.

Arrangements for Barbara Ann Hoover, 82, of Sedalia, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

No services are scheduled at this time for Sandra Nelly Derstein, 54 of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Cindy Kathleen Mills, 70, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at the Calvary Episcopal Church Outdoor Columbarium.  Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Robin Lee Wallace, 60, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 17 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral chapel.
