Funeral Announcements for November 1, 2024

A memorial service for Melinda "Rusty" Eckles, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family of Brian Doyle Brockman, 55, of La Monte, will have a celebration of life from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at American Legion Post #642, Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Jamie Ray (JR) Roark, 54, of Cole Camp, will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the American Legion Post 305, 201 North Maple Street in Cole Camp, for a Celebration of Life event, with lunch served starting at 12 p.m. Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Grace L. Hesterlee, 94, of Lenexa, Kan., formerly of Sedalia, be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will welcome friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral service for Carol Ann Brown, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 2 p.m. until the service begins.

Graveside service for Rosie Lea Brown, 83, of Cole Camp,  will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at Brushy Cemetery, near Lincoln. Arrangements are in care of  Fox Funeral Home.

Graveside service for Nancy E. Sobaski-Wilson, 65, of Sedalia, will be Friday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m., at Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will begin Friday at 10 a.m., at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

The family of Kimberly Ann (Baslee) Gardner, 60, of Lexington, Ken., formerly of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home, where memorial services will be held at 2 p.m.

Graveside service for  Gertrude Ann “Trudy” Collins, 79, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
