Funeral Announcements for November 21, 2024

Funeral service for Alice Marie Braunstetter, 78, of Lincoln, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge, Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Sheryl Ann Williams, 66, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at East Sedalia Baptist Church, 1019 E. 5th Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Gary Douglas Kranz, 80, of Cole Camp, will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Brauersville Immanuel Lutheran Church near Cole Camp with a funeral service to be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Brauersville Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Friends of Melvin "Dean" Horton, 99, of Sedalia, formerly of Topeka, Kan, may call from 9 a.m., to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Topeka, Kansas. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kan., following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, and Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Topeka, Kan.

The family of Bobby J. Mullins, 89, of Houstonia, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25 at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, with military honors presented by the U.S. Army.

Funeral service for Shelby Jean Brant, 88, of Knob Noster, will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 at Heartland Church in Knob Noster, with a visitation starting at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are in care of Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.
