Funeral Announcements for October 17, 2024

Graveside service for Bonnie Kay Schroder of Jefferson City, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery in Sedalia.  Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

There are no services planned for Jerry Blair Hatch, 80, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Melinda "Rusty" Eckles, 72, of Sedalia,  will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

A celebration of life for Laura C. Berlin, 47, of St. Louis, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m., until service time at the chapel.

Visitation for Goldie Mae Jones, 80, will be held at Heckart Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, followed by a service at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.

The family of Timothy Ray Warnock, 59, of Sedalia, will announce a celebration of life gathering with family and friends at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Tia Kaye Demand, 47, of Sedalia, will be 10 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. There is no burial scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Gayline "Rae" Leafty, 80, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Bishop Don Carr officiating. The family invites friends to a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
