Funeral Announcements for October 25, 2024
A memorial service for Melinda "Rusty" Eckles, 72, of Sedalia, will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
A celebration of life for Laura C. Berlin, 47, of St. Louis, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m., until service time at the chapel.
Visitation for Tia Kaye Demand, 47, of Sedalia, will be 10 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. There is no burial scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Richard Paul Eckhoff, 67, of La Monte, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and VFW Post #2591.
Funeral service for Lafayette Gordon “Gordy” “Bo” Bohling, 84, of Sedalia, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 p.m., until service time. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the US Navy.
The family of Brian Doyle Brockman, 55, of La Monte, will have a celebration of life from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at American Legion Post #642, Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
A memorial service for Sylvan Ray Demand, 89, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Smithton, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Lake Creek United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Lake Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
A graveside memorial service for Greg Joseph Wolfe, 68, of Sedalia, will be announced by the family at a later date.
Graveside service for Charles E. “Charlie” Ramseyer, 96, of Sedalia will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may sign the guest register from 9 a.m., to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at Heckart Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
The family of Jamie Ray (JR) Roark, 54, of Cole Camp, will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the American Legion Post 305, 201 North Maple Street in Cole Camp, for a Celebration of Life event, with lunch served starting at 12 p.m. Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.
