Funeral Announcements for October 4, 2021

Memorial service with full military honors for Roy Lee Petrie, 80, of Stover, will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m., with the family receiving visitors one hour prior.
A funeral service for James Lee “Jim” Mathewson, 83, Sedalia, will be held Friday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Friday at the church.  Friends may sign the guest book from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at Heckart Funeral Home.

A graveside service for for Mary Lucille R. Bloess, 95, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7 at Crown Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Friends may call at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for John William Meyer, 77, of Mora, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery near Cole Camp with military honors by the American Legion Post No. 305. The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church, where a prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. Arrangements are in care of the Fox Funeral Home.

The family of Barbara Sue Viebrock, 76, of Highlandville, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, at Fox Funeral Home, with funeral services to be held at 11 a.m.   Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

Funeral service for Nellie Elizabeth Rodewald, 75, of Tomball, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.

A funeral service for Frank Junior Lefevers, 74, of Green Ridge, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Green Ridge Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

A memorial graveside service and burial for Cynthia "Cindy" W. Campbell, 67, of Sedalia, will be held at Memorial Estates Cemetery in Salt Lake City, UT at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Donald Charles Hofheins, 84, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Ruby Louise Esser, 76, of Sedalia will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, at Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Lawayne Paul “Joe” Bredehoeft of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 6 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
