Funeral Announcements for September 30, 2021

A funeral service for John William Meyer, 77, of Mora, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp.  Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post No. 305. The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church, where a prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A graveside service for for Mary Lucille R. Bloess, 95, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7 at Crown Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Friends may call at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial service with full military honors for Roy Lee Petrie, 80, of Stover, will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m., with the family receiving visitors one hour prior.

Funeral service for Mary Catherine Sites, 63, of Warrensburg, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be Centerview Cemetery at a later date.

A Celebration of Life for Brian Wade Pettis, 38, of Sedalia, will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday, Oct. 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive family and friends at 5 p.m.

There will be no formal services for Ellis Eddie Holt, 90, Lincoln. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

There will be no formal services for Thomas Kelly Beem, 56, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service for James Lee “Jim” Mathewson, 83, Sedalia, will be held Friday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Friday at the church.  Friends may sign the guest book from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at Heckart Funeral Home.
