Funeral Announcements for September 30, 2025

A celebration of life for Susan Dawn McMannama, 70, of Warsaw, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will take place at Memorial Park at a later date.

The family of Paula Kay Harms, 51, of Kansas City, will receive friends beginning at 1  p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cole Camp where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery near Cole Camp.  Following the committal services, a celebration of life with food and fellowship will begin at 5 p.m., at The Chat Shack at 15982 Chat Avenue, Cole Camp.  Arrangements are in care of the Fox Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Anna May Descar, 84, of Cole Camp,  will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11 at the Jaycee House, 208 E. Main in Cole Camp. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Prayers of the rosary for Virginia Evelyn Perkins, 87, of Sedalia, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cole Camp with visitation to follow. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at the Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Sedalia.  Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Irma L. Weyer, 102, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Randy Chi Smith, 72, of La Monte, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service for Mary Ruth (Huls) Bengtson, 86, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens.

A Celebration of Life for Sharon Kay Kratzer, 77, of Sedalia,  will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until service time at the chapel. Private burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.

A funeral service for James Edwin Teasley, 79, of Concordia, formerly of Smithton, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct.  3 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Smithton Cemetery.

Visitation for Chester Clyde Plummer, 80, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at Heckart Funeral Home, with military honors beginning at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.

Funeral service for Chester Wayne Bryan, 67, of Florence, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens.
