Funeral Announcements for October 6, 2025

A celebration of life for Anna May Descar, 84, of Cole Camp,  will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11 at the Jaycee House, 208 E. Main in Cole Camp. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Sharon Kay Kratzer, 77, of Sedalia,  will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until service time at the chapel. Private burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral service for Chester Wayne Bryan, 67, of Florence, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens.

Funeral service for Alesia Rae Wissman, 67, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens.

A Memorial Service for William Gordon, Jr., 83, Sedalia, will be held Friday, Oct. 10 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., at Parkview Christian Church 1405 E. 16th Street.

Funeral service for Walter Lee Sands, 80, of Sedalia, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Full military honors will be conducted by the Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard and the Sedalia VFW Post #2591 prior to the service.

Funeral service for Mildred Vada Widel, 93, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial will follow at Old Lamine Cemetery in Blackwater.
