Funeral Announcements for January 6, 2026

The family of Chester L. “Chet” Myers, Jr., 75, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A prayer service for Aleksandr G. Sidorov, 44, of Green Ridge,  will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Green Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Vickie Rae Wasson, 69, of Green Ridge,  will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Sydney Chauntay Holt, 46, of Kansas City, will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Clyde "Gail" Demand, 87, of Smithton, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Lake Creek Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the United States Army.

A celebration of life for Terry Joe Roberts, 76, of Sedalia, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home for Julia (Barklage) Skinner, 23, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., formerly of Sedalia.
