Green Ridge Resident Injured in Monday Afternoon Wreck

A 36-year old Green Ridge resident was injured Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 3:35, on MO-13 just north of Hwy Y.

According to the online crash report, a 2011 Chevy Malibu driven by 20-year old Celsey L. Blackburn, of Warrensburg, attempted to pull off the road but traveled off the roadway instead and into a ditch.

A passenger, Timon R. Blackburn, of Green Ridge, suffered moderate injuries. Blackburn was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.

Celsey Blackburn was reportedly uninjured.
