SEDALIA, Mo. - Harper Mruk will join the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri as its new executive director. Mruk comes to the Club from the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tri-County Area in Berlin, WI where she’s been the Center Director since 2008.

“We are very happy to have Harper joining the Club,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri Board President R.J. Lindstrom. “From the first time we talked with Harper it was clear that she would fit well with the culture of our Club. We look forward to what she will bring to west-central Missouri and the ways she’ll help grow our organization.” Mruk brings a decade of non-profit experience to the table as she joins the Club.

“I’m very excited to be joining an already strong and vibrant organization,” said Mruk. “I was initially drawn to the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri because of the scope of the organization. Serving more than 700 kids every day is an amazing accomplishment for an organization, no matter where it is located.

“Brett Barth-Fagan left the Club in superb condition,” Mruk continued. “I’m excited to step into a role with a history of success behind it. I’m looking forward to growing our teen programs especially, and offering diverse and dynamic programming to draw more of that age group. The organization already has great fund diversification, and I’m excited to continue that diversification trend.”

Mruk’s first day at the Club will be Wednesday, March 19.
