Boys & Girls Club Raises $34,000 at Golf Tournament
It was a beautiful day to spend outside for a great cause, as Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri hosted the 10th annual Putting “Fore” The Kids Golf Tournament, presented by McCarthy Toyota of Sedalia on June 12.
The sold-out tournament featured 54 teams, games and cash prizes, raising more than $34,000 for Boys & Girls Club programs.
“We’re so thankful to the community for showing up and supporting Boys & Girls Club, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day,” said Executive Director Gary Beckman. “This is one of the best golf outings we’ve had with a record number of teams and the support comes at a perfect time: our Summer Program is seeing a record number of children each day. We’re so appreciative of the support of our programs.”
