
Head-on Crash Injures Two in Lafayette County
Two people were injured in a head-on crash that occurred Friday morning in Lafayette County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1999 Ford F-450, driven by 19-year-old Gage A. Davidson of Green Ridge, was on Missouri 23, north of Davis Road at 8:50 a.m., when the Ford crossed the center line and stuck a northbound 2017 Ford F-150, driven by 64-year-old Harlan E. Reid of Sweet Springs, head-on.
Davidson suffered minor injuries, and was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
Reid suffered serious injuries, and was flown by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center for treatment.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Concordia towing companies.
