Hello Summer, My Old Friend
Just when we thought cooler temperatures were going to stay around for a while, Summer opened her doors and said, "Welcome Back!" Still a few more days of warmer days are ahead of us but the cooler temps are waiting in the wings.
The warm and muggy weather continues with isolated to scattered non-severe storm chances today in NE KS and NW MO. Then widespread storm are expected Thursday for the entire area. Some storms Thursday could become strong to severe, so now is a good time to start thinking about potential alternatives for outdoor activities planned for Thursday afternoon/evening.
