Help Out the Cardboard Campout

This weekend is a great chance for you to help out some kids who are trying their best to help the needy in our area. The Cardboard Campout is coming up!  The Boy Scout Troop 54 will spend the night in the Walmart parking lot to collect donations for the Community Cafe.

The campout will be held on Friday, Jan. 11 from 5:30 p.m. to Saturday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sedalia Walmart Supercenter parking lot. These kids will be camped out all night, using their camping skillz to keep them warm in our freezing January weather.

So the least you can do (I mean, the least I can do, and you know that I do very little other than nap with my cat) is maybe pick up a couple extra things to them on your way out of Walmart.  Bring canned goods or paper products, and I'm sure the Boy Scouts will appreciate every little bit.  For more information, call Alex at 596-4337.
