UPDATE: Caylee Marie Cramer, 14, of Houstonia, died on Friday, June 21, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was pronounced deceased at 4:20 p.m., by Dr. Micha Anchetta.


 

 

A 14-year-old Houstonia girl was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 14-year-old was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion southbound at Route K and McCubbin Road around 12:55 a.m., when the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a culvert.

The girl suffered serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital in Columbia by LifeFlight.

The Ford had extensive damage and was towed by InMotion.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol. The report noted that it was unknown if the girl was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
