In Your Backyard

I thought on Friday's I'd do a segment called in Your Backyard and with the price of gasoline, maybe you're looking for something fun close to your area.  So I started looking on facebook for some fun places and saw that the Cruces Cabooses   Bed and Breakfast has been named a "Midwest Travel Treasure" by AAA Midwest Traveler.  I had heard of this place  before and thought how neat it is to ride on a train and then thought how neat it would be to stay on a caboose for a night and then ride or walk the Katy Trail, one of Missouri's great treasures. I've heard friends stay there and really enjoyed it and hey it's in Windsor, so seems like fun, I"ll have to check it out.  What are some fun finds you have from this area?
