Independence Police Make 25 Arrests At Two Hotels

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) — Independence-area law enforcement officers arrested 25 people after city health inspectors investigated two motels. The sweep at a Budget Inn Motel and the Sports Stadium Inn Motel led to the Budget Inn's closing because of health code violations. The sweep occurred after authorities received several complaints of criminal activity at the motels.
