Route 66 Drive-In Kicks Off Season Ahead of Historic 100th Anniversary

The Route 66 Drive-In is gearing up for another exciting season this summer, and it’s the perfect way to enjoy a night out with the family.

Right now, the drive-in is open on Fridays and Saturdays through May 27. It’s a great opportunity to load up the car, grab your favorite snacks, and experience a movie the way generations did, on the big screen under the stars. This summer is shaping up to be especially big, as the historic Route 66 celebrates its 100th anniversary. Communities all along the famous highway are planning special events, including festivals, museum exhibits, and parades. Even the NBC Today Show will be stopping in Springfield, Missouri, to help officially kick off the celebration.
