If you dig deep into the study shared by DHH Law Firm, you'll see there are certain days and hours of the week when you're most likely to be in a vehicular accident in Missouri. Note that Friday and Saturday nights are the most dangerous times when accidents in Missouri happen most often.
I am not surprised that Friday and Saturday nights between 6pm and 12 midnight are the most dangerous driving times in Missouri, but I'm shocked that the overnight hours from Saturday night to early Sunday morning aren't more perilous. When you consider how many people who are out on the town Saturday night and make the bad decision to drive after consuming alcohol, the overnight hours early Sunday would seem to be one of the most common time periods for serious or fatal accidents.
The study shared by DHH Law Firm includes a lot of other interesting Missouri driving hazards including how different types of weather and road conditions play a role in accident frequency. It's just another reminder that you can never let your guard down when you're behind the wheel of a vehicle.
